DID YOU KNOW:

Effective January 1, 2008, the California Labor Law prohibits employers from using an employee’s social security number on an itemized wage statement.

Penalties may be assessed for each intentional failure to comply. Employers must also keep these records and permit current or former employees to copy them upon reasonable request. Call our office at (310) 277-2323 or contact us online for a free consultation.
